Hi there! My name is Bradley Prior.

I am a Rhodes University (South Africa) alumnus, having studied a four-year, Honours-equivalent Bachelor of Journalism, which I completed in 2017. I specialised in Radio Journalism and Multimedia Storytelling in my third and fourth years of this degree.

I am fascinated by technology and computers. I studied Information Technology at school, where I learned basic coding in the Java programming language. I also spent a year studying Computer Science at Rhodes University, after which I decided to focus on Journalism and Media Studies. I have previously written for GoldPer10.com (which has since closed down) and Splyce.gg about Esports. I have also experienced site design in WordPress and HTML/CSS as part of my fourth year of Journalism and Media Studies at Rhodes University.

I started reading at the age of 2, so you could say that I have always been destined for a career in literature or writing. I grew up on the Famous Five, Secret Seven, and Hardy Boys series, while simultaneously pouring through countless sports books, magazines, and news articles.

The intersection of content and technology – through blogging, tech journalism, gaming journalism, and content marketing – has allowed me to pursue two of my greatest passions as career opportunities.

Some examples of my work can be read at the links below:

I am currently immersing myself in the concepts of brand management and digital marketing, and have previously studied journalism and English literature, so I understand how to make content work within a variety of situations and for a variety of audiences.

My mathematical ability (including being 4-time national World Maths Day Champion) mean that I also have the capacity to work with statistics and numbers when needed.

I have experience writing in a range of different industries, including gaming, commerce and news – meaning I have the ability to adapt my voice as necessary.
